Between 2006 and 2010 I produced a number hand-drawn animations for music videos for bands including The Coral and The Go! Team. This shifted to more esoteric work with sound artists between 2011 - 2015, and some of those later experiments are presented here.
Rotate- Video combining hand-drawn and digital animations, live action and found footage in response to themes of 'torque' and 'torsion'. Original score (cello and electronics) by Oliver Coates. Presented at Rich Mix with a live performance by Oliver Coates and as video installation at Furtherfield Gallery in 2015.
